Mark Kozelek

Mark Kozelek is a pretty good songwriter in his own right, but his albums always contained an interesting cover. In recent years he seems to be doing only covers. I have a bunch more, but they're m4a's and I can't seem to upload them.

Bad Boy Boogie

Celebrated Summer

Breadfan - Another reverse cover, this is the original Budgie version, but you probably know the version of a slightly more famous band.

Girl Talk - not really a cover, this is the cut and paste guy we were telling you about. Catchy.

Saturday Night Fight etc- This is pretty much a cliche now, but back in 1986 it was a pretty radical idea to do a speed metal cover of Elton John. Then of course Jason Newsted left the band and it was all over.

Working for the Weekend - Another note perfect mr.Bungle cover

Judas Priest

Dissident Aggressor - Sort of a reverse cover, since you've probably heard the Slayer version first.

Breaking the Law - Supersuckers. Definitely better than the original.

Just totally gay - sort of covered by Spinal Tap.

Absolutely one of the worst covers ever - from an Anthony Michael Hall movie no less.
